The Certified ADHD Coach Practitioner (CACP) certification is awarded by the Professional Association of ADHD Coaches (PAAC), which was founded in 2009 to establish high standards of excellence in ADHD certification and accreditation programs. The certification is closely aligned with and modeled after the ICF certification, but especially tailored and refined for ADHD coaches. PAAC is the sole organization offering ADHD Coach certification.

“The ADHD Coaches Organization, a nonprofit association created to advance the profession of ADHD coaching worldwide, is the professional membership association for ADHD Coaches. We are committed to serving as the resource on ADHD Coaching for our members, for other professionals, and for the public. Whether you’re a coach, looking for help, or just plain curious about ADHD coaching, we can help you.”

CHADD (Children and Adults with ADD) is a membership organization, produces the bi-monthly Attention magazine (for members), and sponsors an annual conference. CHADD was founded in 1987 in response to the frustration and sense of isolation experienced by parents and their children with ADHD.
