Not everyone who struggles with executive function skills has ADHD. And not everyone who has ADHD chooses to take medication. My personal experience is that the right medications can work wonders, but should only change you as much as eyeglasses. Eyeglasses correct your vision but not your personality. Medications enhance your ability to organize your creative ideas, to remember the ideas and to stay with the conversation. You remain true to yourself, just in a more focused and organized manner.
